The whole class is built upon existing lecture videos. So the teaching is more related to self-learning. Office hours are available. However, the TA and professor never post solutions for homework/projects, nor will they give specific comments on grading. The workload is extremely high, especially if you don't have a reliable teammate.Rate My Professors ↗
This course they give you online video which is super easy which the hw and exams will be super hard. Really a tough grader for hw and provide no feedback. They will not give answer of homework, and no explanation, so you will never understand why you lose points. I decide not to go for 304 because the course is so poorly organized.Rate My Professors ↗
The workload is unbelievable, the exam is mission impossible. This course is basically online with a well organized short videos and quizzes, but the video is just basic. You need tons of self learning for the HW. Exam covers overwhelm amount of details that you learned by yourself in your HW, they didnt even publish HW solutions!Rate My Professors ↗
It shows that Covington is newer at teaching. You can tell he is an extremely intelligent person and at times forgets those hes teaching arent at his level. That being said, I felt like his class was challenging in a good way. I felt like I was forced to really learn the material and his notes contained many good examples.Rate My Professors ↗
Covington was extremely average in his teaching ability. He expects the students to know content on a deeper level even though he barely touched on it in lecture. Weekly homework assignments that are long and heavily weighted on your final grade. The worst instructor I ever met. The lecture content did not cover everything on the exam. I guess he would say: you did not learn hard enough. But the FACT is: there are many things that he "believed" we automatically understand, but no one knows it. Not even a PHD student.Rate My Professors ↗
