in office hours. Many times this semester, I have been stumped on a project, and he is very good at walking you through the logic required to understand the issue. I have been very happy with his help outside of the class during this online semester.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/2225093","quality_rating":5,"difficulty_rating":4},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:57:00.766334+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTMzODk2MzIx","source_instructor_id":"rmp:2225093","instructor_name":"Alexander Brooks","course_label":"HUN2201","course_id":null,"course_uid":null,"review_date":"2020-11-27 20:46:55 +0000 UTC","comment":"Easy class. As for Alexander Brooks, he was a great teacher and never had a mean thing to say. He was available a lot outside of class for anyone struggling. Class? Tough. Teacher? Great","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/2225093","quality_rating":5,"difficulty_rating":4},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:57:00.766334+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTMwNjY5MzA4","source_instructor_id":"rmp:2225093","instructor_name":"Alexander Brooks","course_label":"CS300","course_id":"COMPSCI 300","course_uid":"course_28c3390ba944d49fd17f7c72","review_date":"2018-11-06 14:48:49 +0000 UTC","comment":"He's a sweet guy, but he's boring and the class itself is terribly structured, though he seems not to have control over the class structure. A huge portion of the projects are already written and the written portions are not explained. Very nitpicky grading, and understanding project instructions is tougher than the coding.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/2225093","quality_rating":2,"difficulty_rating":3},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:57:00.766334+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTI5ODM1NzU0","source_instructor_id":"rmp:2225093","instructor_name":"Alexander Brooks","course_label":"CS300","course_id":"COMPSCI 300","course_uid":"course_28c3390ba944d49fd17f7c72","review_date":"2018-04-18 18:36:14 +0000 UTC","comment":"Avoid at any cost.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/2225093","quality_rating":1,"difficulty_rating":5}],"total":13,"page":1,"courses":[{"course_uid":"course_834bc468ca49d8090d0f211f","course_id":"COMPSCI 220"},{"course_uid":"course_28c3390ba944d49fd17f7c72","course_id":"COMPSCI 300"},{"course_uid":"course_de12e29109d0c90ee086fcec","course_id":"COMPSCI 577"}],"matched":true},"socialImage":false}}
