Easily one of the best instructors in the ESL department! Just concentrate and give him all your attention, and you'll easily pass. I visited his office multiple times during office hours, and he was very understanding and supportive.

Professor Azocar is really a very nice teacher. I. took his ESL116 and ESL118 during the freshman year. He really give great feedbacks of my essays, and as long as you could talk to him and understand his points, you could get good grades.

Clearly cares about his students and wants them all to succeed in his class, make sure you put in effort and you'll be rewarded. Also very flexible with deadlines as long as you inform him beforehand, overall good class.
