My experience of ENG 178 was rough, and it seems to be the general consensus. There are very little directions, and frequent assignments with critical grading. There are no lectures in the course either so if you don't understand parts of the reading, you better hope that someone else has already explained it online.Rate My Professors ↗

harsh grading, not interestingRate My Professors ↗

She was excited about the thing she taught. But honestly a really strict course and grading with mandatory attendance for some of the weirdest assignments that don't bring value to anything at all.Rate My Professors ↗

Lectures were interesting but her class was disorganized and her expectations too high. She gave many creative assignments with vague instructions, and would then tell the class that she was 'underwhelmed' with the submissions. Assignments were graded pass or fail- not in the syllabus. And I bought the books just for them to feel brushed over.Rate My Professors ↗

I would not recommend taking this class. The assignments were nearly always unclear and the readings were utterly useless as we never went over them in class. She is also very strict with attendance at all lectures and discussions. It is an easy A but entirely made up of busy work. Overall this course is very disorganized and unproductive.Rate My Professors ↗
