Dr. Saatchi is super caring towards his students. If you're struggling in this class, talk to him and he will kindly help. The grading system is also super lenient because this is an introductory class. Pay attention to example problems discussed in lectures because they are the ones that will be in the exams.

Quite possibly the worst professor Ive ever had. His lectures are absolutely useless, and you will need to learn everything from the book, which is by far the most useful resource in this class. The hw and exam questions are similar, so I have to give him credit for that at least. The pace of the class is very inconsistent too.

I took MSE350 over this past summer and it was all online. Although Professor Saatchi wasn't the greatest at using technology, he was always online for office hours and even got online late at night to help with difficult assignments. His lectures are boring and didn't cover the material fully. I recommend reading the textbook over the lectures.
