Prof Hayes is an interesting lecturer, the class however is a tad dry and repetitive. Lots of reading for class but not always necessary.

Professor Hayes often speaks in abstract terms and complicates concepts with random examples. While Hayes has a good sense of humor and keeps students engaged during lectures, the assignments seem to only reflect his own understanding of concepts and not the ones a student would gather from the readings. His course felt largely rigid/scientific.
