In a small seminar environment, he did a really good job of facilitating a super engaging discussion and you could tell he really cares about what he teaches. He's definitely not the clearest professor when it comes to putting stuff on canvas, but he's a super easy grader so if you put the effort in, you'll get an A.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1671806","quality_rating":5.0,"difficulty_rating":2.0},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:14:21.131290+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTI1NTAyNjYz","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1428110","instructor_name":"Neil Kodesh","course_label":"HISTORY283","course_id":"HISTORY 283","course_uid":"course_f58a2befed3ba544f80bedc5","review_date":"2015-11-30 11:46:46 +0000 UTC","comment":"Professor Kodesh is an amazing guy. He is so knowledgable about the topics discussed in class and has first hand experience with most of them. I found this class insanely interesting. There is a lot of reading, but it is sure worth it. There are no finals/midterms, just three papers (none of which were terrible). Great teacher.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1428110","quality_rating":5.0,"difficulty_rating":2.0}]
