I had no prior knowledge of Greek myth before this, and you don't need it. Lectures were all engaging, but he doesn't post them online so attendance is necessary. He will also stress certain points that always show up on exams, so take detailed notes. Each week we would read about 200-300 pages, but they can be skimmed. I can tell he wants his students to succeed, but he will make you work for it.  You HAVE to go to class or you'll miss all the info he tests/quizzes you on.  As long as you show up to class and pay attention, you'll know everything you need to.
