  • Diagnose and manage common psychiatric diagnoses.

  • Manage acute psychiatric emergencies under the supervision of faculty.

  • Describe how stigma can be propagated in medical documentation and identify strategies to mitigate bias.

  • Perform a focused physical examination for patients with psychiatric diagnoses and identify subtleties to facilitate accurate diagnosis and management.

  • Demonstrate effective communication with peers, patients, families and all members of the healthcare team.

  • Provide meaningful feedback to peers in a clinical environment.

  • Use strategies to address the stresses of transitioning to internship during residency and throughout medical career.

  • Identify individual areas of growth in clinical skills and develop a plan of how to address.

  • Summarize one's professional identity and leadership skills.
