  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills in providing psychiatric care to child and adolescent patients, including: psychotherapeutic and medication management treatment strategies, diagnostic interviewing techniques, working in multidisciplinary teams, and documentation

  • Demonstrate ability to recognize and diagnose common psychiatric conditions in child and adolescent patients

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop a biopsychosocial formulation.

  • Participate in and display an understanding of the differences between a range of child and adolescent psychiatry practice settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and consultation/liaison.
