Describe the interactions amongst key players involved in the provision and financing of health care goods and services in the U.S. including payers, providers, patients, pharmacies, wholesalers, manufacturers and pharmacy benefit managers.
Recognize various sources of insurance coverage for healthcare goods and services and reimbursement methods utilized by each source.
Describe pharmacy operations, workflow, and drug reimbursement within the community, hospital, and ambulatory care practice setting.
List foundational leadership concepts and discuss how they can be applied as a student pharmacist and in future careers.
