  • Demonstrate knowledge of standard saxophone and jazz literature. This includes professional performance level, knowledge of historical context and importance, and pedagogical aptitude related to each work performed.

  • Strengthen critical listening and ear-training skills.

  • Exhibit versatility and ability to adapt to a variety of musical situations.

  • Apply efficient and productive practice techniques.

  • Make informed musical decisions that reconcile acquired knowledge with intuition.
