Fundamental principles and mathematical models of electrochemical energy conversion, energy storage, manufacturing, and sensing, with an emphasis on understanding how and why ions and electrons move. Topics include equivalent circuits, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, transport phenomena, electrostatics, porous media, and phase transformations.
