Course Description

Overview of population health interventions to promote firearm injury prevention. Gain an understanding of the epidemiology of firearm injury and death in the US. Recognize the role of clinicians in catalyzing firearm injury prevention. Establish relationships with community partners working on firearm injury prevention. Develop model interventions in collaboration with a community partner to reduce firearm injury in the community. Clinical and community interventions discussed.
