Summary

1 / 3

Recent recorded grades — Spring 2025: 4.00 GPA, 100.0% A/AB (n=17 letter grades); Spring 2026: 4.00 GPA, 100.0% A/AB (n=23 letter grades).

What you’ll be able to do

  • Describe ecological datasets spatially and statistically using data storage and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools

  • Acquire and map spatially explicit ecological data using GIS tools

  • Identify patterns in complex ecological data sets

  • Conduct common statistical analysis of digitized ecological data (such as: description, correlation, univariate regression, and hypothesis testing)

  • Critically evaluate the results of statistical analyses, including validation, of ecological datasets
