Course Description

Mathematical techniques used in economics analysis at a Master level. Topics include: proof techniques, optimization, introductory topology, functional analysis, linear algebra for microeconomists and differential equations. It is expected that students will have completed three semesters calculus (such asMATH 234) and linear algebra (such asMATH 340).
