Course Description

Dynamic analysis and behavior of structures; basic principles and application of engineering seismology; determination of earthquake-induced loads for earthquake-resistant design; and analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel buildings subjected to ground motion. Knowledge of analysis and design of reinforced concrete and structural steel buildings [such asCIV ENGR 440,445, and447] required.
