Covers research methods to support development of a research paper proposal in agricultural and applied economics. Supports development of research interests and provides structured opportunities to develop skills in fully executing a research paper. Opportunities to refine research interests, identify gaps in the literature, and explore academic creativity. Gain experience lining up data, doing analysis, sifting through and presenting results, framing a contribution, producing a full paper, responding to critiques, and orally presenting findings.
